Owners, Rusty and Michelle Skinner:
Rusty & Michelle Skinner opened their first restaurant, the local favorite beer and wine bar, Hop DeVine located in Livermore, California back in 2016.
Over the years they both felt a deep connection to the community and wanted to expand their business within, deciding a steakhouse would be a great addition to the downtown. They quickly got to work on their vision with Rusty completing the majority of the construction himself.
Their mutual passion for travel, dining and trying new things is what they hope to share with their customers. These two are very active in their community and always hosting fundraisers to give back where they can.
Chef Kevin Michel came to us from the renowned Restaurant at Wente Vinyards, where he honed his skills.
Chef Kevin’s passion for food and his creativity is displayed with every dish.
Meet the master craftsman behind our bar, Elizabeth “Liz” Peik.
You may have seen Liz crafting cocktails at Handels, in Pleasanton, CA., or The Last Word, in Livermore. She assisted with the setup and liquor selection at Purgatory Craft Beer & Whiskey Bar in Tracy, CA.
Her knowledge, expertise and cocktail inventions are an integral part of what makes Rusty’s the place to be.
